Artist Corey Sweet shares his artistic wisdom.
Each Wednesday I ask a different artist the same three questions.
This week’s artist has a very sweet name indeed, it’s none other than . (When I say ‘sweet’, I mean cool).
1. What first sparked your interest in creating art?
What first sparked my art interest was: all the graffiti I saw as a kid. While I was riding buses and trains I would just stare out the window at all this huge art in hard-to-reach places lol. Very intriguing.
2. What are your regrets?
My regrets are not being more deliberate about my creativity when I was younger. It was just a thing I did, not something that I saw real value in.
3. What wisdom would you offer someone beginning their art career, or exploring art for the first time at any stage in life?
The only thing I would offer a beginning artist is to make more art. Be prolific until you become profound. (a quote from Myron Golden.)
