PLEIN (2023) – 42 CM x 29.7 CM – ACRYLIC PAINTING ON PAPER
Part of the Trespasso series, “Plein” employs my favourite blue and orange complementary colour combination. The underrated power of connecting solely through eye contact, especially in a screen-dominated world in 2023, is compellingly captured in this piece. Inspired by Marina Abramović’s 2010 exhibition “The Artist is Present,” and my own experiences of ‘Trespasso’ through Landmark Educational courses, this artwork visually expresses these profound interactions.
