Short Circuit is one of my all-time favourite childhood films, capturing my imagination with its excellent soundtrack, the captivating story of a sentient robot, and the awe-inspiring backdrop of New York City. Growing up in a small market town, I was always mesmerised by the sheer size and energy of New York as portrayed in movies.
This piece is a tribute to that beloved film, capturing its essence in my unique artistic style. Through this work, I aim to document and celebrate the magic and wonder that Short Circuit brought into my life, combining the nostalgia of the film with my personal artistic expression. Just like how Johnny Five was filled with wonder when he first experienced New York in the movie.
